This is a map of Great Britain: Scotland (the northern third), Wales (to the west) and England.

The 'traditional' homes of the Brickwood family are in the bottom right corner of the map - the south east of England: London, Guildford and Portsmouth are all marked (if you've got a magnifying glass!) Kingston and Long Ditton, which aren't marked, are on the south west edge of London.

We on the other hand now live north west of London, in Steventon. near Oxford. We moved here in February 2004 from near Bristol (in the west), and before that we lived for many years in Newcastle (in the North East).
